It features DIGIC II Image Processor, which helps the camera to produce clear images with natural color and precise white balance. Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi digital SLR camera has a large 2.5-inch LCD monitor with approximately 230,000 pixels, new user interface and wide viewing angle. This rear LCD monitor allows you to shoot and review information. It has wide viewing angle of 160 as well as brighter and easier-to-read menus. Also, it features high precision, wide area 9-point autofocus system.
It was designed with the newly developed Display Off Sensor that automatically turns off the external display whenever you compose images. When the sensor detects your face against the back panel of the camera, it will turn the screen off. The monitor is turned off so the brightness of the LCD does not disturb your eye while you look through the viewfinder.
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi digital SLR camera can shoot up to 3 frames per second, 27 frames in burst. The startup time only takes 0.2 second so you are always ready to shoot. The shutter can record images as fast as 1/4000 seconds and as long as 30 seconds. Also, it synchronizes with Canon Speedlites at 1/200 seconds.
For speedy and accurate focusing, it has the high-precision 9-point AF system that is located on the back. This 9-point AF system can be used manually by pressing the cross key buttons or you can allow the camera to automatically choose the AF for your image. The One-Shot is perfect for still photography, while the AI Servo AF tracks moving subjects. When subjects are moving and stopping, the ideal setting is AI Focus AF as it switches between One-Shot and AI Servo
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi digital SLR camera also features Picture Style settings for a broad range of control over color, contrast and sharpening. It has six preset Picture Styles - Standard, Portrait, Landscape, Neutral, Faithful and Monochrome. The camera also has Print/Share button with advanced camera direct capabilities so you can have direct control while printing. To transfer some or all of the images from the cameras memory to folders on the computer, just connect the camera to a computer via the USB 2.0 port.
