The Newest Adobe Elements Version
Given the amount of photo editing software programs on the market today it can be difficult to choose which one will suit your particular needs the best. If you choose Adobe Elements any version you choose will enable you to effectively edit your photos to your satisfaction. With every new version of the software you are getting a variety of new features that the older versions will not have; for example, in Elements version 6 you have an e-mail tab as well as the burn to CD/DVD options, these features were not available in version 5. Often software creators will also change the user interface, or the screen that you are looking at, in newer versions. In Elements 6 the interface has gone through a major refurbishment thus making it less clustered.
The latest version of Elements is 7 packs a powerful punch with its inclusion of features that are typically found in its more professional photo editing counterpart, Adobe Photoshop. Elements 7 includes exciting features such as the auto contrast, auto color, auto smart fix features and smart brush which allows users to edit their photos just like the pros do. The best thing about editing your photos with Elements as opposed to Photoshop is that Elements contains the editing tools you will need without the heavy price tag.
Don't worry about running out and upgrading your software if you are using an earlier version of Adobe Elements since your program will still do the jobs you have always used it to do. However, I do recommend that at some point, especially if you are using Elements version 3 or lower, that you consider moving with time so you do not get left behind in terms of technology. My personal thought is that you should update to version 7 as updating a program is significantly less expensive than purchasing an entirely new one.
One of the advantages of staying up to date with the latest software is that with brand new software you will be able to get a faster and efficient customer support. One of the reasons is that when a new software comes most users migrate to the newer version and with the more recent community networks users will be able to discuss their findings on the new software thus helping you as a user of the same software to even understand it better. It is also good to know that when a newer version of a program is made available the program developers always make it a point that they offer discounts to the early birds. So it is wise to migrate to newer versions of a program early and it would be foolish to try and get it later when the new version has gained popularity and it thus becomes much expensive to purchase.
Hopefully you are getting the hint that I seriously recommend you migrate to the latest version of Elements. Not only will you enjoy photo editing with the latest tools and features, you might also save a bit of money on your purchase.
