Your Landscape Photography Portfolio What You Should Know
We have all read the web sites that let us to use certain techniques to enhance our landscape photography portfolio and seascape photography skills, or to post process our photos in a special way and just about all of these suggestions are intensely valid ones but when you understand the basics there is one very quick and simple way to improve your photography portfolio and that is to head outside and just start taking photos to begin.
Sounds too simple? Well it is true, there's nothing like practise and heaps of it to quickly boost and enhance your skills. The other rationale behind this idea is that the more you are out shooting the greater chance you have of capturing that 'magic' light that no one else has managed to capture before. We have all heard the term that practise makes perfect and whilst I am not making a claim to be perfect I have definitely revealed that the more I am outside shooting the more I am brooding about shooting and the better I get.
When I initially began out I couldn't understand why I wasn't capturing any decent landscape footage in 6 months I'd managed to capture perhaps 3 sellable photos. Ultimately it dawned on me after talking to some pros that I just wasn't getting out there enough firstly to boost my skills and secondly to improve my probabilities at capturing a great photo.
I quickly learnt I had to be more obsessive about there photography portfolio getting out there so I went from taking footage once every two to three weeks to living and respiring landscape photography and spending up to 10hrs a week taking footage. An superb thing occurred my photography improved out of site and my portfolio expanded extremely quickly to the point that I had a collection of photographs that I was highly proud of.
